Mint Julep
Ingredients
- 2 oz Bourbon
- 0.75 oz Simple Syrup
- 10-12 Fresh Mint Leafs
Mixing Method | Build and Stir
Combine mint and simple syrup in a julep tin glass and muddle gently to extract the flavor of the mint. Pour bourbon, add crushed ice and stir for 15 seconds. Top with more crushed ice and garnish with a mint bouquet. (Avoid muddling the mint too hard – the stem will release a very bitter juice, compromising the overall flavor of the cocktail)
