Coconut Oil Washed Mint Julep


  • 2 oz Coconut Oil Washed Bourbon (recipe below)
  • 8-10 Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 0.25 oz Agave Syrup
  • 0.5 oz Aperol
  • 2 dashes Orange Bitters
  • 2-3 dashes Angostura Bitters


  1. Add the mint and simple syrup in a glass

  2. Lightly muddle the mint to extract the flavor

  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and top with crushed ice

  4. Stir well to combine all ingredients and top with more crushed ice to form a nice looking dome

  5. Garnish with mint leave and dehydrated citrus

  6. Add a couple of dashes of Angostura Bitters on top of the ice dome
